1. We will not share any information we might collect about you with any other sites. This includes e-mail addresses, any mailing list we have, suggestions we collect, and other information you contribute using any forms on this site.
2. As part of the functioning of this WordPress powered site, we generate cookies to gather various information and make this site easier to use. Sometimes this information may be collected by outside websites. That information is as anonymous as that generated by almost any other website you might visit. We’ve decided we need to use some of these outside services (like one that counters spam in comments, another that lets you easily share this site, and so on). This is normal website practice. But we will do our best not to share any personal information. If you think that any of the outside services we use collect too much information, let us know, and we will consider alternatives.
3. Any opinions expressed here are those of IndieAve.com and its own invited contributors. As with any opinions, others will disagree. Since this is a journalistic review based site, we operate under the normal legal standards that apply to opinion base sites. If you object to any of our content, let us know via the Contact page, and we will discuss your objections with you. Who knows, you might even convince us to change our minds.
4. As part of the process of adding useful information to this site, we will sometimes include an article that originates from outside sources. We don’t necessarily agree with everything these articles say, but wouldn’t include them if there wasn’t something useful. These articles will be identified by a warning icon at the beginning of the article, and such posts will include “(article)”. If we get permission to include the content directly, then we do our best to ensure there aren’t any advertising or other data collection links. Sometime we will just include a link to outside content, in which case the usual caveats apply – if you leave our site, you are subject to the privacy policy of the other site.
